Wescott Successfully Completes Challenging Shutdown Works

Wescott recently completed a challenging project involving the removal and replacement of over 20 tonnes of absorption media and a thorough internal vessel inspection. The project was completed on time and within budget, and the client was extremely satisfied with the results.

The project involved the use of specialized equipment and techniques, and the Wescott team was able to successfully complete the project with Zero LTI.

Recent Shutdown – Gas Plant

Wescott were awarded the Fabric Maintenance and Scaffolding scopes of a recent shutdown for one of our valued blue-chip clients.

Remediation of Passive Fire Proofing to Bullet Tanks, Hydrocarbon Plant

Wescott successfully completed the PFP application on two bullet tanks using a small specialist rope access and PFP application team. 

Remediation of Access Towers to RLPG Tanks

Wescott was awarded the Remediation of 3 access towers at Santos's Port Bonython Hydrocarbon Plant in South Australia. 

Work began on the project in late 2020, with Wescott deploying a team of multi-skilled operatives to carry out work due for completion late 2022.

Air Separation Unit Insulation Removal and Remediation via Ropes Access, Specialist Gas Facility

Wescott completed this highly specialised project through strategic planning of a mix of access disciplines in order to gain effective entry into the vertical air separation unit, allowing detection and remediation to occur.

Gas Plant Recommissioning Project

Wescott have been tasked with providing specialised teams to remediate CUI in the plant as part of the greater recommissioning. 

RLPG Tank Remediation, Stage I and II, Hydrocarbon Plant

Wescott was engaged by Santos to remediate damage to RLPG storage tanks at their Port Bonython Hydrocarbon plant.

Bullet Tank Inspection Scope, Hydrocarbon Plant

Utilising a specialist rope access crew, Wescott completed the inspection works on the fleet of bullet tanks enabling the clients ability to evaluate the asset integrity and prioritise remediation planning.
