Remediation of Access Towers to RLPG Tanks

Location: Port Bonython Hydrocarbon Plant

Description: The access towers stand at approximately 40m high adjacent to RLPG tanks, and are exposed to the harsh elements of the nearby sea.

The turnkey project spanned over 24 months and involved all aspects of project management through to execution of a myriad of skill sets. The scope included:

• installation of fabricated steel
• welding and fitting of steel
• remediation of corroded structures 
• blasting 
• painting 
• inspection
• utilising a mix of access methods including ropes and traditional scaffolding.
